The netH₂O B600-10 is a solar-powered buoy for water-quality monitoring in coastal waters, ports, aquaculture and research sites. It combines approximately 600 Wh of battery capacity with two 5 W solar panels, Iridium satellite and cellular connectivity* and access to the Sensorica Data Platform.

Six LiFePO4 batteries provide stored energy for the sensors and control system. Solar power supports continued operation between service intervals. The service interval depends on available solar energy, the installed sensors, sampling frequency and the transmission schedule.

From water measurements to cloud data

The base platform includes an onboard data logger, automatic cloud upload, cloud storage and access to stored data through the Sensorica Data Platform. Sampling and transmission schedules can be adjusted to support local buffering and periodic data transfer.

  • Iridium satellite and cellular connectivity*, with GPS positioning.
  • Temperature sensor and inertial measurement unit (IMU) for buoy status and motion.
  • Water-quality sensor integration through a shared RS-485 / Modbus connection.
